UTS to Launch Martial Arts Program for Saudi TeenagersIntroducing 4 Sports: Kickboxing·Wrestling·Sambo·Muaythai to Saudi Teenagers
United Through Sports activites have begun to spread out to Saudi Arabian teenagers through Martial Arts and Combat Sports.
On Monday morning(local time) 23rd October, the Al Motaqadimah International Schools, located in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, held a program for teenager students to introduce and experience Martial Arts and Combat Sports by United Through Sports(President Dr. Stephan FOX, UTS).
The program, which involved about 300 teenagers, was introduced by Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee (SOPC). The introduction and experience of 4 kind of Martial Arts and Combat Sports such as ▲Kickboxing ▲Wrestling ▲Sambo ▲Muaythai, as well as UTS Engagement Games, Quizzes and Prizes activities were followed.
After experts from each Martial Arts and Combat Sports introduced technical movements, teenagers came up to the stage to imitate and experience the movements, and the program event ended successfully with very high participation and engaging.
This UTS education experience program series will be conducted in a touring format by visiting the schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in period for the ‘2023 Riyadh World Combat Games.’
